Fathers Of The Brave is a not-for-profit organization and is intended for the use of the fathers of US military personnel in all capacities, as well as supporters and other individuals of similar belief. FOTB is not a debate forum. Posted material deemed offensive or inappropriate will be deleted at the convenience of the moderator. Revenues (or any portion thereof) derived from advertising placed upon the website may be used to defray operational costs of same, and funds exceeding this goal may be retained for the charitable activities of FOTB.
OPERATIONAL SECURITY: IMPORTANT
FOTB will endeavor to adhere to all aspects of operational security for our military. Members and users are advised to refrain from using last names of personnel, unit designations, locations, exact deployment dates, or any other specific information which could aid the enemy. Should FOTB be contacted by any entity of the US Department of Defense with regard to operational security, full and complete cooperation will be extended. This cooperation will include full disclosure of the identity of any individuals registered as users.
Users are reminded and cautioned that the enemies of the United States are waging a continuous and concerted intelligence gathering effort over the internet. This includes social media sites and other entities where introductions, chats, and online friendships can develop. DO NOT give out information about your servicemember to persons you may meet over the internet unless you are absolutely certain of their identity or other bona fides. Do not give deployment dates, unit designations, flight times, destinations or any other information via this forum or other social media. Moderators will be vigilant and reserve the right to delete postings containing such information. This war is real, and the enemy is listening.
